MY POLICY ON THE PRIVACY OF CHILDREN’S PHOTOS
All registered children will receive their own private online gallery, protected with a unique passcode sent to the parent or guardian who completed the registration form. Each gallery only contains photos of your child—no other children’s individual photos are ever visible.
By registering, you’re also giving Little Light Portraits permission to photograph your child and place their images in their private gallery.
PLEASE NOTE: We’re unable to take individual photos of children who aren’t registered and haven't prepaid, as we don’t have permission to do so.

When you complete the online registration form, you’ll be asked to give permission for me to use your child’s images or videos for things like social media, our website, promotional/print materials. You can simply select Yes or No.
If you select Yes, your child’s image may appear in these places. We never include names or identify the childcare centre.
If you select No, your child’s images will not be used for any of these purposes, and your gallery details will remain private with only the registered parent/guardian.

The viewing details and password are sent only to the parent or guardian who registered their child for photos. If you’d like to share these details with a family member, that’s completely up to you. They’ll be able to place their own order using their own email and contact information if you give them the password. For privacy reasons, we don’t provide passcodes or gallery details to anyone other than the registered email address.

That’s absolutely fine – just let us or your child’s teacher/educator know as early as possible so we can make sure they’re not included on the day. We always try to include the whole class in these traditional photos (whether registered or not), but we’ll happily respect your wishes if you prefer your child not to take part.
PLEASE NOTE: Class photos are available as print copies only and include the class name and centre/kindy details.
A little reminder: We understand families may sometimes snap a quick photo of the class picture, but we kindly ask that it not be shared on social media. This helps protect the privacy and respect of all the children in the photo. Thank you so much for your understanding.

With your permission, we may share images of your child on our social media platforms (such as Facebook and Instagram) as examples of our work, on the Little Light Portraits website, or in printed materials like posters, flyers, and brochures for childcare centres and kindergartens.
PLEASE NOTE: We never include children’s names or identifying details unless you have given express permission. If your child is wearing a kindy shirt with the centre’s name, we generally avoid using those images online for privacy reasons.

That’s absolutely no problem! Just let us know anytime, and we’ll remove your child’s images from our social media, website, or promotional material. We’re always happy to respect your wishes and will follow your preferences straight away.
